Marissa was a fighter true
Her songs are still wide told.
We hear them as if they were new,
But they are tales of old.
She was on her dragon gold,
Flying o'er her Weyr
Below she saw a bronze so bold
Who noticed her flying near.
Marissa landed, she jumped clear,
As the bronze took to air
Hemoth flew, 'cross winds did steer
Surrounded by dragons fair.
The air and ocean seemed to be
As dragons of every hue
Flew higher than the highest tree
Most colored green and blue.
A merry chase she did lead
Across the sky for hours.
But the bronze with his wings did impede
And flew her toward their bower.
Hemoth gave a dragon hum
As she followed her mate.
She thought about asking Marissa to come,
But realized it was late.
Marissa woke and found herself
In another's bed.
She turned to look outside the shelf
And met the eyes of G'ed.
The fiery passion of that night
Should never be forgot.
Hemoth's eggs were an awesome sight
Beside Marissa's tot.
